Setting a melody to an incoming SMS message

To set the text message notification sound, go to the settings, select the option "Sounds and Notifications” then select "Default notification sound" and select a melody there. Below are screenshots with the sequence of setting the SMS message signal on an example of a phone with Android 5 Lollipop. To set the music that you like for SMS notification, select "More Ringtones ...".

If there is no item in the list "More ringtones ..."

If only standard melodies are displayed in the list, without the option "More ringtones ...", do the following:

1. With the help of any file manager, move the downloaded ringtones to the "Notifications" folder on the phone's internal memory. If there is no such folder, create it.
2. Go to the settings menu for sounds and notifications, as described above. Now in the list along with standard melodies there will also be melodies from the folder "Notifications".
